How much to copy the whole portfolio
Copy a portfolio with too little, and eToro quietly skips its smallest trades — anything whose mirrored slice would be worth under a dollar. And because eToro mirrors each of my trades separately, that floor applies to every individual lot, not just the netted holding: a big position built from several buys has small lots that get dropped on their own. This shows exactly where that line sits for my live portfolio — which lots are currently under half a percent, and the copy amount at which every one of them still opens.
eToro copies each of my trades separately, so a holding built from several buys is mirrored lot by lot — and any lot whose mirrored slice would be worth under $1.00 is skipped. The amount at which every lot opens is $1.00 ÷ the smallest lot’s weight — here $1.00 ÷ 0.26% ≈ $392. Weights are each lot’s current market value as a share of the whole portfolio (cash included) — not the invested amount eToro’s app shows, which understates what you need.
At $392, all 94 lots open — the copy mirrors the portfolio in full.

“Min to hold it” is $1.00 ÷ that lot’s weight — the copy amount at which this one trade clears eToro’s $1.00 floor. The largest of these is what sets the full-mirror figure above.
